Passed away on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at the Central NL Regional Health Care Center, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL, Mr. Woodrow Wesley Head, age 89 years.

He was predeceased by his parents, Hedley and Alfreda Head; wife, Pearl; children, Marlene Baker and Jeffery Head;  sisters, Lillian (Bill Fisher), Ruby (Edwin Hann), Louise (Thomas McCarthy) and Peggy (Mac Dawe); brother, Clayton.

Left to mourn his passing with fond and loving memories are his children, Dwayne (Telsie), Janice (Dexter), Peter, David (Fran), Neil, Bradley (Roxanne); 12 grandchildren;  19 great-grandchildren; son-in-law, Gerald Baker; brothers, Harvey (Imelda) Head, Fred (Shirley) Shea; brother-in-law, Walter Miller and a large circle of other relatives and friends.

Visitation for immediate Family only will take place from Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, 262 Main Street, Lewisporte on Friday, April 12, 2024 from 10 AM – 12 PM. Interment will follow 12:30 PM from the Faith Pentecostal Cemetery, Norris Arm.

As expressions of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations to the Faith Pentecostal Church Cemetery Fund, Norris Arm will be gratefully accepted.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, 262 Main Street, Lewisporte, NL.
