Passed peacefully away at Central Newfoundland.Regional Health Centre in Grand Falls-Windsor on Saturday, January 10, 2026 surrounded by her loving family Winna Ryan age 64 years.

She was predeceased by her parents, Garland & Catherine Simms; parents-in-law, Jim & Shirley (Toots) Ryan; sisters-in-law, Glenna Simms and Sheree Juneja (Ryan) and her grandfather Edgar Simms Sr.

Left to mourn with fond and precious memories is her husband Jim of 45 years; her children Jamie, Shane (Stephanie); granddaughters, Suri and Sage; siblings Violet (Eric) Chaulk, Edgar (Judi), Heather (Chris) Dwyer; brothers-in-law, Darrin (Corrina), Dave (Charlene); nieces and nephews; special friends, Edward & Wanda Pelley and Goddaughter, Chantelle Pelley (Ryan), as well as a large circle of family and friends.

Public visitation will take place from Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, 262 Main Street, Lewisporte, NL on Monday, January 12th from 6-9 pm.

The funeral service for family and friends, will take place from Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, 262 Main Street, Lewisporte, NL on Tuesday, January 13th at 1 pm. Interment to follow at St. Matthew's United Cemetery, Lewisporte.

Masks are mandatory for both the visitation and the funeral service.
