Passed peacefully away with his loving wife by his side on Saturday, October 29, 2022, at the James Paton Memorial Regional Health Centre in Gander, NL, Mr. Wayne Day, age 73 years.

Wayne is predeceased by his parents, Fred and Lenora Day; sisters, Pearl Froud, Betty Snow; brother, Jerry Day.

Left to mourn his passing with fond and loving memories are his wife, Violet; children, Melinda, Cindy, Dwayne; grandchildren, Nathan, Nicole, Natasha, Kyle, Tori; great-grandchildren, Alayha; siblings, Otto (Levina), Shirley, George (Doris), Sherry, Ivan, & Harold (Linda); sister-in-law, Audrey Day as well as a large circle of family and friends.

Cremation has occurred. The Celebration of life will take place at the Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home 262 Main Street, Lewisporte, NL on Saturday, November 5th at 1 PM.  Interment will take place at a later date.

As expressions of sympathy, flowers or donations made to the family will be gratefully accepted.
