Passed away on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at the Lewisporte Health Center, Lewisporte, NL, Mr. Walter Norman Penney, age 91 years.  He was predeceased by his parents, Ernest and Bessie Penney;  brothers, Robert and James (Hazel);  sister-in-law, Alma Penney;  brothers-in-law, Cecil Oxford and Baxter Adams.

Left to mourn his passing with fond and loving memories are his wife, Grace of 65 years;  sons, David, Terry (Levetta), Craig (Glenn);  grandson, Bradley;  brother, Neil;  sister,  Vivian Oxford, Hazel (Gord Weir) and Bernice Andrews;  sister-in-law, Lillian Penney and a large circle of other relatives and friends.

Public visitation will take place from Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, 262 Main Street, Lewisporte on Tuesday, June 20th from 2-4 & 7-9 PM.  The Funeral Service will take place from St. Matthews United Church, Lewisporte on Wednesday, June 21st at 2 PM.  Interment will follow from the United Church Cemetery.
