Passed away on Saturday, February 18, 2023 at the James Paton Memorial Hospital. Gander, NL, Mr. Walter John Lewis (Jack) Butt, age 81 years.

He was predeceased by his parents, Moses and Effie Butt; baby daughter, Jillian;  siblings, George, Edna (Ronald Vardy), Geneva (Cecil Spurrell);  brother-in-law, Saul White. Left to mourn his passing with fond and loving memories are his wife, Kay; children, Rodney (Catherine), Robin (Nicole);  grandchildren, Robbie, Kolby, Jillian, Emma;  siblings, Viola White, Eric (Dorothy);  sister-in-law, Phyllis and a large circle of other relatives and friends.

Public visitation will take place from the United Church, Carmanville, NL on Tuesday, February 21 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. The funeral service will take place from the United Church on Wednesday, February 22 at 2 PM.  Interment will follow at the United Church Cemetery, Carmanville, NL.

As expressions of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations to the United Church, Carmanville, NL will be gratefully accepted.
