Wallace George Hutchings at age 89, passed peacefully away at James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander, NL on Friday, August 19, 2022.

He was predeceased by his parents, John and Elizabeth Hutchings; wife, Bernice; sisters, Cora and Alona;  brother, Jonas;  grandson, Jody Hutchings and son-in-law, Grant White.

Left to mourn his passing with fond and loving memories are his six children, Audrey, Garry (Madonna), Owen, Leroy (Robin), Brian, Sherry (Ralph);  10 grandchildren;  22 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild;  brothers, Gerald and John;  sister, Daisy and a large circle of family and friends.

Wallace was a man who spent hours on the water has a fisherman, salmon fishing with his boys, rabbit catching and many many hours at the brook fishing.  He loved camping at Charles Brook with his family, loved playing music with his buddies and singing and playing guitar.  He was a man who loved life to the fullest and loved it when he got lots of visits from his family, especially his grandchildren and you were his favourite when you brought him lots if candies.  He will be missed by all.

Public visitation will take place from the Maranatha Pentecostal Church, Brown's Arm on Sunday, August 21, 2022 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM.

The funeral service will take place from the church on Monday, August 22, 2022 at 2 PM. Interment will follow at the Pentecostal Church Cemetery.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Maranatha Cemetery Fund would be gratefully accepted.
