Obituary

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Wallace Nelson Bussey, age 72 years.

Wallace was born October 31, 1947.  He taught school in St. Lunaire for a couple of years before he chased his dream of becoming a mechanic.  He was provided a job opportunity in the Oil Sands of Alberta.  Eventually Wally moved his family to Alberta where he worked for Syncrude for over 30 years. Wally was a hard worker.  He loved to fish, play cards or tell one of his funny stories.  He was always shyly grinning whenever he told a joke.  The one thing he cherished more than anything were his children, Jeff and Kenda; grandchildren, Trinity and Courtney and great-grandson, Caine.

Wallace is predeceased by his mother, Marjorie; father, Gordon;  brothers, Wilson, Carl, Victor Gordon and Ricky;  sister, Bernice.  He is survived by his partner, Phyllis Luff; sisters, Helen, Selma, Irene (Velmer) and a large circle of nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.

In lieu of flowers, all donations can be made to the Loon Bay United Church Camp.  Wallace was always happy to volunteer and made yearly donations.

In light of the current coronavirus pandemic, there will be no public visitation or Funeral Service. All services will remain private for family only.
