Violet Dora Audrey Pike was born to Pearce and Madeline Quinlan of Birchy Bay on January 19, 1949. Throughout her life she enjoyed homecare working, working at the fish plant and she enjoyed being around her family and friends.

On Thursday, December 3, 2015, Violet passed. She leaves to mourn her husband, Edward of 48 years; three children, Shirley, Josephine (Corey), Kerry (Kim); four grandchildren, Tyler, Brandon, Sommer and Jada; brothers, Arthur (Minnie), Joseph (Bessie), Bert (Millie), Sterling, Bruce; sisters, Gwen (Allan), Louise (Giles) and a large circle of other relatives and friends. She is predeceased by her parents, Pearce and Madeline Quinlan; twin brother, Allan Rex.

Public visitation will take place from the Pentecostal Church, Baytona on Sunday, December 6th from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. The Funeral Service will take place from the church on Monday, December 7th at 2 PM. Interment will follow from the Pentecostal Church Cemetery.

As expressions of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations to the Family will be gratefully accepted.

She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
