It is with sadness that the family of the late Viola Gillingham announces her passing at the James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander, NL aged 88 years.

Viola leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her daughter, Judy (Wallace); sons, Gordon (Melvina) & Rodney; grandchildren, Geoffrey (Sue),Tracy (Leon), Krista (David),Owen (Carmalea), Dennis (Irina) & Mitchell (Amie); a large number of great-grandchildren; sister, Enid; as well as a large number of other relatives and friends.

Viola is predeceased by her husband, Donald; parents William & Annie (nee Rose) Slade, 2 brothers and 4 sisters.

The public visitation took place Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm, Thursday, March 30, 2017 at 2-4 pm & 7-9 pm from the United Church, Carmanville, NL.

The funeral service took place Sunday, April 2, 2017 at 2 pm from the United Church Carmamville, NL. The interment followed from the United Church Cemetery, Noggin Cove, NL.

As expressions of sympathy donations in her memory were made to the United Church Memorial Fund, Carmanville, NL.
