It is with great sadness that the family of Mrs. Una Marie Burry announces her peaceful passing on Sunday, December 14th, 2025, at the North Haven Manor, Lewisporte, NL, at age 74 years.

Una is predeceased by her father, Jose Wheaton; mother, Frances (Gale); brother Jack; sister Gaye (Ellsworth).

She leaves to mourn her beloved husband, Ford; daughters, Lisa (Robin Woolfrey), Lori (Darcy McElveny); her most prized possessions, grandchildren, Aaron McElveny, Adam McElveny, Olivia Woolfrey, Emerson Woolfrey; her brothers Cyril (Stacey), Harris (Kathleen); sisters, Linda (David), Greta (Junior), Doris, Coreen (Everett), as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

She will be forever remembered for her need to connect with and help others. She found great joy in simple things, such as a long walk around the boardwalk, a lunch while exploring Newfoundland's hidden gems, and storytelling to her grandchildren.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation is to take place.  A visitation will take place from Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, 262 Main Street, Lewisporte, NL on Thursday, December 18th from 2-4 PM & 7-9 PM.

A Memorial Service will take place from Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home on Friday, December 19th at 10 AM. Inurnment will follow at St. Matthew's United Church Cemetery, Premiere Drive, Lewisporte, NL.

As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the palliative care unit at North Haven Manor, Lewisporte, NL.
