Passed away on Tuesday, January 1, 2019 at the Lewisporte Health Center, Mr. Sidney Nathaniel Smith, age 71 years of Embree.

He was predeceased by his parents, Jack and Dora Smith.  Left to mourn his passing with fond and loving memories are his wife, Gladys;  daughters, Verley Bishop, Bonetta (Jerry Manktelow), Alice Burton (Jim Reid), Marilyn (Don Snow);  sons, Lorne (Sherri Burton) and the late Bronson Burton (Wanda Randell);  grandchildren, Louise, Angie, Anita, Juanita, Janine, Steven, Pamela, Joshua, Crystal, Shauna and Douglas;  10 great-grandchildren and a large circle of family and friends.

Visitation for family and close friends will take place from Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, 262 Main Street, Lewisporte on Friday, January 4 ^th from 2-4 & 7-9 PM.  The Funeral Service will take place from the Funeral Home on Saturday, January 5 ^th at 1 PM.  Interment will follow at the Community Cemetery, Embree.

As expressions of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations to the family will be greatly appreciated.
