Passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at the Health Science Center, St. John's, NL, Mr. Sidney William Lewis, aged 77 years of Comfort Cove-Newstead.

He was predeceased by his parents, Alfred & Sarah; sisters, Bernice Luscombe, Gertrude Ginn, Jane (Bert Head); sister-in-law, Joyce Lewis; brother-in-law, Alec Hurley.

Left to mourn his passing with fond and loving memories are his wife, Nellie; children, Doyle (Cathy), Dwayne (Karla); grandchildren, Christopher, Noah, Abigail, Kalan; siblings, Melvin (Kathleen), Wilson (Sandra), Kevin, Garry, Austin, Pearl (David Flanagan), Dulcie (Ivan Regular), Viola Hurley, Jacqueline (Jerry Head); brother-in-law, Harry Luscombe, Levi Ginn and a large circle of family and friends.

The public visitation will take place from Salvation Army Church, Comfort Cove, on Thursday, January 16th from 7-9 PM and Friday, January 17th from 2-4 PM & 7-9 PM. The Funeral Service will take place from the Salvation Army Church, Comfort Cove-Newstead, NL on Saturday, January 18th at 2 PM. The interment will take place at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Comfort Cove-Newstead.

As expressions of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the Salvation Army Church, Comfort Cove-Newstead.
