Passed away on Friday, March 4, 2022 at the North Haven Manor, Lewisporte, Mrs. Shirley Margaret Nicholas, age 82 years, of Lewisporte, NL.

She is predeceased by her husband, Robert (Bob); her parents, Wesley and Kate Jefferies; baby Nicholas; grandson, Jonathan Nicholas; sisters, Judy Etsell, Barbara Jefferies and Maisie Jefferies.

Left to mourn her passing with fond and loving memories are her children, Debbie (Owen Hewitt), Shawn (Cindy), Kim Nicholas (Dale Judson), Trevor (Tracey), Darlene (Philip Moyles); grandchildren, Denise (Ambrose Maher), Bradley Freake (Jennifer Layden), Leon (Angie) Nicholas, Sherry-Lynn (Jason Hutchings), Paul Bennett, Crystal (Adam Heath), Trina Ball, Christopher (Kim) Ball, Jeffery Nicholas (Megan Chayter), Jeremy Nicholas, Elizabeth Nicholas, Jordan Moyles(Rebecca Jeans), Kody Moyles (Cassidy Aucoin), Parker Moyles; 11 great-grandchildren; siblings, Linda, Fred (Alma), Jack (Nina), Brian (Jocelyn), Donna (Pearce), Angela (Jerry), Maxine, Tom (Carol) : as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends.

Public visitation will take place from Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, 262 Main Street, Lewisporte, NL on Sunday, March 6, 2022 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM.

The funeral service will take place from St. Matthew's United Church, Lewisporte, NL on Monday, March 7, 2022 at 2 PM. NLvaxPass will be required upon entry. The interment will follow at the United Church Cemetery, Lewisporte, NL.

As expressions of sympathy,  flowers or donations to the Alzheimer's Society would be gratefully accepted.
