Passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2026 at her home in Lewisporte, NL, Mrs. Shirley Mary Beatrice Budden, age 89 years.

She was predeceased by her husband, Ronald; parents, Adolphus and Elfreda Luscombe; sister, Sheila (Earl Grandy) and brother, Arthur (Kathleen) Luscombe.

Left to mourn her passing with many fond and loving memories are her daughter, Beverly (Karl Manuel);  son, Byron; granddaughters, Stephanie (Philip), Vanessa (Jeremy) and Allison (Adam); great-grandson, Harvey and a large circle of other relatives and friends.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation is to take place.

Public visitation will take place from Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, 262 Main Street, Lewisporte, NL on Sunday, May 31st from 2-4:30 PM.

The Funeral Service will take place from Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home on Monday, June 1st at 11 AM. Inurnment will follow from St. Matthew's United Cemetery.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to St. Matthew's United Church Cemetery Fund or the United Church Cemetery Fund, Loon Bay would be gratefully accepted.
