Passed peacefully away on Friday, November 23, 2018 at James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander, NL, Mr. Selby Porter, aged 90 years.

He is predeceased by his wife, Myrtle; parents, Heber & Ethel; children, Maurice & Mary; brother, Cecil; sister, Gertie.

Left to mourn his passing with fond and loving memories are his 8 children, Eugene (Linda) Porter, Jim (Brenda) Porter, Juanita (Alex) Lawrence, Frances (Perry) Whiteway, Tony, Glenn, Angela (Robbie) Burt, Heather (Travis) Wheeler; 16 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; sister, Ivy Gidge; special friend, Bretta Jennings, as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends.

Public visitation took place from Pentecostal Church, Stanhope, NL on Sunday, November 25, 2018 from 2-4 PM & 7-9 PM.

The funeral service took place from The Pentecostal Church, Stanhope, NL on Monday, November 26, 2018 at 2 PM.  The interment followed from The Pentecostal Cemetery, Stanhope, NL.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Red Cross and Janeway will be gratefully accepted.
