Passed away on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at the Lewisporte Health Center, Lewisporte, NL, Mr. Samuel Freeman Parsons, aged 99 years.

He is predeceased by his parents, Mark and Arabella; wife, May; sisters, Winnie (Gabriel Mercer), Nora (Jethro Cull), Emma (John Perry);  brothers,  Fred (Lilly), Walter (Ivy), Leonard, Cheslie and Jethro.

Left to mourn his passing with fond and loving memories are his daughter, Joann (Brian Snow); granddaughters, Jennifer (Brian) and Rebecca; great-granddaughter, Haley; step-grandchildren, Brian, Buck, Jake and Megan and their families;  as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends.

The public visitation took place from Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, 262 Main Street, Lewisporte, NL on Sunday, October 21, 2018 from 7-9 PM and from the Pentecostal Church, Norris Arm North, NL on Monday, October 22, 2018  at 2 PM.  The funeral service took place from the Church on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at 11 AM.
