Passed peacefully away on Thursday, March 29, 2018 at the Health Science Centre, St. John's, NL surrounded by her loving family, Ruby Mary Marguerite Boone of Lewisporte, NL aged 91 years.

Ruby is predeceased by husband, Chesley; parents, Frank and Winnifred White; brother, James (Malena) White; sister, Gladys (Silas) Avery; grandson, Steven Snow; brother-in-law ,Gus (Millicent) Boone; sister-in-law, Gladys (Leo) Piatkiewicz; niece, Cindy Smith.

Left to mourn her passing with precious and loving memories are: her daughters, Geraldine (Roger) Snow, Deborah (Paul) Gill; grandchildren, Melissa Snow, Justin (Melyssa Ivany) Gill, Matthew (Jocelyn) Gill; special nephew, Clyde Osbourne (whom she considered a brother); special nephew, James (Alice) Avery; nephews, Harvey (Joyce) Avery, William (Mary Lou) Piatkiewicz; nieces, Diane Sanders, Marguerite (Ed) Seward, Judy (Wilmore) Jacobs; nephew-in-law, Ron Smith; special friends, Dawson and Roxanne Freake, Wes Churchill; as well as other relatives and friends.

As expressions of sympathy, flowers or donations in her memory may be made to the United Church Cemetery Fund or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

The public visitation took place Saturday, March 31, 2018 at 7-9 pm, Sunday, April 1, 2018 at 2-4 pm & 7-9 pm from Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, 262 Main Street, Lewisporte, NL.

The funeral service took place Monday, April 2, 2018 at 2 pm from St. Matthew's United Church, Lewisporte, NL.  The interment will follow at the United Church Cemetery, Lewisporte, NL.
