Passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at the Kingsway Living Retirement Home, Lewisporte, NL, Ms. Ruby Freake, age 70 years.

She was predeceased by her parents, Eli & Nina Freake; brothers, Eric & Willis Freake; nephews, Lorne Marshall & David Beaton; brothers-in-law, Enos Beaton & Oscar Sparkes.

Left to mourn her passing with fond and loving memories are her siblings, Joan Beaton, Melinda Sparkes, Wilson (Gloria) Freake, Marlene (Vince) Marshall and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Public visitation will take place from Bethany Pentecostal Tabernacle, Norris Arm North, NL on Tuesday, March 14 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM.

The Funeral Service will take place from Bethany Pentecostal Tabernacle, Norris Arm North, NL on Wednesday, March 15 at 2 PM.

Interment will follow at Bethany Pentecostal Tabernacle Cemetery, Norris Arm North, NL.

As expressions of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Mental Health Association will be gratefully accepted.

A special thanks to all the doctors, nurses and staff from the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Care Center, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL and the staff at Kingsway Living Retirement Home, Lewisporte, NL for all their kindness and compassion during our difficult time.
