It is with deep sorrow and much love that we announce the passing of Ruby Edna Budden of Lewisporte, NL on March 29, 2026 at the age of 68 years.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 51 years, Kevin; her three daughters, Loretta (Rodney), Wanda (Peter) and Nicole; her three grandchildren who were her greatest treasures in life, Matthew, Madison and Mitchell; brother, Samuel (Linda) Gillingham; sisters, Pearl Hart (Eric Critch), Florence (Randy Keats), Verbena (Bruce Simms) and Barbara (Robert Dwyer); brothers-in-law, Andy, Lester (Cindy); sisters-in-law, Linda, Shelley (Dennis) and numerous other family members and friends.

She was predeceased by her parents, Reginald and Mildred Gillingham; sister, Maureen Lee; parents-in-law, Pleaman and Myrtle Budden; brother-in-law, Lawrence Budden and sister-in-law, Joy Budden.

Public visitation will take place from Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, 262 Main Street, Lewisporte on Monday, March 30, 2026 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM.  The Funeral Service will take place from the Philadelphia Pentecostal Church on Tuesday, March 31, 2026 at 2 PM. Interment will follow at the Pentecostal Church Cemetery.

As expressions of sympathy, flowers or donations to assist the Family will be gratefully accepted.
