Passed away at the James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander, NL, Mr. Rex Mercer, age 84 years.

He is predeceased by his wife, Helen; parents, Alexander and Janet; brother, Seymour Mercer; sister, Alma (Botsford Stuckless); sisters, Elizabeth Pelley, Ivy (Frank Day) and Ruby (Charlie Hancott). Left to mourn his passing with fond and loving memories are his daughter, Beverly; grandchildren, Matthew and Emma; sister-in-law, Jessie Mae Mercer; as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends.

The public visitation took place from The Salvation Army Church, Campbellton, NL on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 from 2-4 PM & 7-9 PM.  The funeral Service too place from The Salvation Army Church, Campbellton, NL on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at 2 PM.  The interment will followed at The Salvation Army Cemetery, Campbellton, NL.

As expressions of sympathy, flowers or donations in his memory were made to the Alzheimer's Society.
