Passed away on Friday, January 8, 2016 at the Notre Dame Memorial Health Center, Twillingate, NL, Mrs. Regina Newman, age 86 years, of Boyds Cove.

She is predeceased by her parents, Thomas and Bridget (Layman) Clare; daughter, Anne Marie Newman; grandson, Jeffrey Newman; sister, Mary Ellen (Nellie) Newman; step-sisters, Alice Pearce, Mary Newman and Bridget Donahue.

Left to mourn her passing with fond and loving memories are her husband, Patrick of 65 years; children, Irene (Raymond Carpenter), Kevin (Roseann), Roy (Sandy), Bernard (Geraldine), Sheila (Gerald Bragg), Maureen (Michael Thoms), Brenda (Lawrence Conrad) and Frances; 15 grandchildren, Michael (Amy), Jeanette (Colin), Katrina (Watson), Ryan (Tania), Jonathan, Stephen (Crystal), Philip (Nicole), Justin, Stephen, Andrew, Amanda, Sarah, Michael, Nicole and Samantha; 11 great-grandchildren, Patrick, Neil, Olivia, Oscar, Felix, Jessica, Joshua, Emma, Abby, Brandon, Noah and a large circle of other relatives and friends.

Public visitation will take place from St. Anne's Roman Catholic Church, Boyds Cove on Sunday, January 10, 2016 starting at 5 PM.

The Mass of Christian burial will take place from St. Anne's Roman Catholic Church, Boyds Cove on Monday, January 11, 2016 at 11 AM. The interment will follow from St. Anne's Roman Catholic Church Cemetery.

As expressions of sympathy, flowers or donations to St. Anne's Roman Catholic Church would be gratefully accepted.
