It is with heavy hearts as we announce the sudden passing of a beloved mother, daughter, and sister, Ramona Watkins of Comfort Cove, Newstead, NL. Ramona passed away on the morning of July 8, 2026 at the St. Claire's Hospital in St. John's at age of 49 years.

Ramona is predeceased by her mother, Leona Watkins; grandmother, Thelma Fudge; grandfathers, Bennett Fudge and Allen Watkins.

Left to mourn and with precious memories are her father, Raymond Watkins; daughter, Kianna Higgins; sister, Roxanne Watkins (Leo Head Jr), Tonya Fudge; nieces, Kelsey Moyles, Tamara Hollett, and Nikita Hollett; nephew, Andrew Moyles; grandmother, Tryphenia Watkins; great niece, Teela Hollett and as well as a large circle of family and friends.

She will be forever missed and loved by those whom she loved and by those who loved her.

Public visitation will take place from Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, Lewisporte, NL on Sunday July 12, 2026 from 2-4 PM & 7-9 PM.

The funeral service will take place from Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, Lewisporte, NL on Monday, July 13, 2026 at 1 PM. The burial will be at a later date.
