It is with sadness the family of Queenie Conway announces her passing at the James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander, NL, on August 19, 2022 at the age of 88 years. Queenie was born to Chesley and Susie Woodford of Lewisporte on January 25, 1934. She married Wilson Conway and they had five children together. For the last number of years, she made her home at Pleasantview Manor.

Predeceased by husband, Wilson; son, Fred; daughter, Maxine; an infant son; brothers, Warrick (Mildred), Garland (Peggy), Pleaman, and sisters-in-law, Mary and Ivy.

Leaving to mourn her passing with fond and loving memories are her daughter, Kim; sons, Tony and David (Wanda); brothers, Gord (Helen), Ted, Ross (Mabel), Winston (Yvonne) Dave (Elsie); sister, Rowena (David) Weir; as well as a circle of nephews, nieces and other family and friends.

A private family visitation will take place from Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, 262 Main Street, Lewisporte on Sunday, August 21, 2022 from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM.  A private family funeral service will follow.  Interment will be from the Salvation Army Cemetery, Lewisporte.

As expressions of sympathy and IN LIEU OF FLOWERS, donations to the Janeway will be gratefully accepted.
