It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Peter Seward, who passed away on January 29, 2025, in Gander, Newfoundland. Peter was born in New Perlican, Newfoundland, and was predeceased by his wife, Dorothy.

Peter is survived by his two sons, Darryl (Paula) and David (Jenny). He is also survived by his sister Diane, many nieces and nephews, and numerous close friends, who will cherish his memory.

A devoted and active member of his community, Peter was deeply involved in volunteer work, and held memberships in both the Masonic Lodge and the Shriners. His faith was also an important part of his life, and he was a dedicated member of the Anglican Church.

Peter and Dorothy spent the majority of their lives in Lewisporte, where Peter taught Drawing and Planning for many years at trade school. After Dorothy's passing, Peter moved to Kingsway Living Seniors Home, where he spent his remaining years surrounded by caring staff and new friends.

A celebration of his life will take place from St. Paul's Anglican Church, Lewisporte on Tuesday, July 8th at 2 PM.
