It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Patrick Francis Newman. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Patrick passed peacefully away at his home in Boyd's Cove surrounded by his loving family on September 25 ^th , 2021 at the age of 94 years. He will be forever loved and sadly missed.

Patrick was predeceased by his wife, Regina (nee Clare); parents, George and Bridget (nee Higgins); daughter Anne Marie; grandson, Jeffery; sisters, Lucy Martin and Dorothy Mercer; brothers, Joseph and George, Ronald and Brendon

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are daughters, Irene (Raymond) Carpenter, Sheila (Gerald) Bragg, Maureen (Michael) Thoms, Brenda (Lawrence) Conrad, Frances; sons, Kevin (Rose Ann), Roy (Sandra), Bernard (Geraldine); grandchildren, Michael (Amy), Jeanette (Colin), Katrina (Watson), Ryan (Tania), Jonathan (Cathy), Philip (Nicole), Stephen (Crystal), Justin (Sharlene), Stephen, Andrew (Danielle), Amanda, Sarah (Dylan), Michael, Nicole, Samantha; great-grandchildren, Patrick, Neil, Olivia, Felix, Oscar, Jessica, Joshua, Noah, Brandon, Jacob, Lucy, Clark, Abby, Emma, Clara, and a large circle of other relatives and friends.

The funeral service and visitation will remain private for family only following COVID government regulations. The interment will take place at St. Anne's Roman Catholic Church, Boyd's Cove.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to St. Anne's Roman Catholic Church Cemetery Fund, Boyd's Cove, will be gratefully accepted.
