It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Pansy Osmond at the Lionel Kelland Hospice in Grand Falls- Windsor,NL at the age of 78 years.

Left with fond and loving memories and to mourn her loss are her sons Faron (Kay) (Hunter), Ryan (Tamara), Stacey (Sandra) as well as her cherished grandchildren Mackenzie, Mackayla, Natalie and Nicholas.

Also leaving with a lifetime of memories are her sisters Marjorie (Carl), Madeline (Wayne), Doreen (Don), Vera (Val), and her brothers Alex (Lillian), John (Debbie), Milton (Marina), her sister-in-law Joan; brother-in-law, Ross; as well as her brothers and sisters-in-laws from the Osmond family, nieces, nephews and a large circle of friends.

She is predeceased by her husband Eli, her parents Melinda and John Menchenton, her sister Rowena and her brothers Kaywood, George and Pleman.

Pansy was born on March 23, 1947, on Norris Arm North to Melinda and John Menchenton. There she grew up with her twelve brothers and sisters. In 1964, she married the love of her life Eli Osmond. It was on Norris Arm South that Pansy and Eli built a life raising their three sons Faron, Ryan and Stacey.

Their memories are of a home filled with love, trips on the ski doo and quad, going to their cabin, the ritual of Sunday dinners followed by her much-loved salads for supper and endless deserts and cookies. Right in the middle of this was the heart of their family, Pansy.

Her proudest days were later spent with her grandchildren Mackenzie, Mackayla, Natalie and Nicholas. Their memories are of sleepovers at nan's house, baking cookies, having tea parties, building forts and the list goes on.  She truly cherished her time with them and when she said that they were her pride and joy these weren't just words she meant it with her heart and soul.

Throughout her life Pansy worked at the family business that her and Eli purchased in 1972, the AJ Whitt General Store and in later years at Valu Pharmacy on Norris Arm South and in more recent years at the Family Camp at Emmanuel Convention Centre in Lewisporte.

Pansy was in every sense of the word a "conversationalist."  She had many friends and those she didn't know would soon become her friend. She always embraced everyone with "sweetheart" and "darling".

Her saddest day was losing her husband Eli who passed away on October 18, 2006. Losing her partner in life was heartbreaking, however, she found solace in her faith and in her church. Her Sundays were filled with morning and evening services and throughout the week she attended prayer service and the weekly Children's Church. She was proud to be treasurer of the Faith Pentecostal Tabernacle. Today Pansy's heart is singing because today she is in her heavenly home reunited with Eli.

Public visitation will take place from the Faith Pentecostal Tabernacle, 67 Citizens Dr. Norris Arm South, NL on Friday, July 11, 2025 from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM.

The funeral service will take place from the Faith Pentecostal Tabernacle, Norris Arm South, NL, on Saturday, July 12, 2025 at 2PM. The interment will follow from the Faith Pentecostal Tabernacle, Norris Arm South, NL.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made in her memory to the Norris Arm South Faith Pentecostal Tabernacle or the Lionel Kelland Hospice in Grand Falls- Windsor, NL.
