Passed away on Monday, April 11, 2022, Mr. Norman Thomas Pope, age 92 years of Birchy Bay, NL.

He was predeceased by his parents, Abel and Louise Pope; son, Melvin; grandson, Shawn; siblings, Grace (Francis Pike), Gladys (Clayton Mews);  brothers-in-law, Lindsay Lewis, Andrew Lewis, Harold Smart, Don Rideout and Wilfred Lewis.

Left to mourn his passing with fond and loving memories are his wife, Bessie; children, Marjorie (Samuel Pike), Linda (Roy Saunders), Karen (Lloyd Steele), Lawrence (Jo-ann), Tina (Owen Osmond) and Rodney (Dale); grandchildren, Sheldon, Sherman, Coreina, Carolyn, Corey, Jason, Natasha, Joseph, Tiffany, Trevor, Tara, Joshua and Jeremy; great-grandchildren, Daniel, Danessa, Brandon, Brittany, Addison, Brayden, Colby, Chloe, Raegan, Brooke, Jake, Brett, Rowan, Lincoln, Sevan, Karlie, Bennett and Abigail; siblings, Anne Lewis, Elizabeth Lewis, Ada Smart, Ruth Rideout, Wallace (Juanita), Ivy Lewis, Bernetta (John Hicks), James (Lillian), Audrey (Ed Bowering), Dora (Alvin Gidge), Marie (Scott Kinden), Venus (Clifford Luff) and a large circle of other relatives and friends.

Public visitation will take place from the Pentecostal Church, Birchy Bay, NL on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 from 2-4 PM & 7-9 PM.

The funeral service will take place from the church on Thursday, April 14, 2022 at 2 PM. Interment will follow from the Pentecostal Church Cemetery, Birchy Bay, NL.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Pentecostal Church Cemetery Fund, Birchy Bay will be gratefully accepted.
