It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our brother, Nelson S. Hoddinott at the Miller Center Palliative Care Unit, St. John's on Tuesday, February 16,2021 at the age of 83 years.

Predeceased by his parents, Arthur & Rosie; brothers, Bruce (Joyce), Darrell and Leslie; sisters, Kathleen (Woodrow Foss) and Ruby Barnes; sister-in-law, Joan Hoddinott and niece, Charlene Hoddinott.

Left to mourn his passing with fond and loving memories are his brothers, Jim and Ben (Paulette); sisters, Marion (Lorne Manuel) and Winnie (Bert Hoddinott); brother-in-law, Bill Barnes and a large circle of nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends. Also left to mourn special friends, Catherine West, Blake Cryderman, Linda Andrews and Margot O'Donnell.

Thank you to nephew Bruce Foss and wife Shirley for your many acts of kindness. To Blake and Linda for your care and compassion.  A special thank you to Catherine for your dedication to Nelson. A friend is one of the best things you can be and the greatest thing you can have. You went above and beyond. Not all angels reside in heaven. Many walk the earth just like you.

In keeping with COVID restrictions there will be no public visitation or funeral service. A private burial will take place at the Embree Community Cemetery, Embree.
