Passed away on Thursday, August 20, 2020 at the Corner Brook Long Term Care Home, Corner Brook, NL, Mrs. Ellen Nellie (Collins) Sheppard, age 99 years of Lewisporte.

She was predeceased by her parents, Abraham and Elizabeth (Boyle) Collins;  husband, Maxwell Sheppard;  sons, David and Max;  step-mother, Rebecca Collins;  sisters, Mary (Ken House), Dorothy, Elizabeth;  brothers, John (Hilda), Elijah (Florence), James (Jean), Wilfred (Betty); half-sisters, Velma (Wilson Legge), Beatrice;  step-sister, Lucy (Don Collins);  step-brother, William and brother-in-law, Art Roberts.  Left to mourn her passing with fond and loving memories are her daughters, Shirley (Sid Butt), Isabel (Lloyd Hillier), Elizabeth (Real Laurin);  grandchildren, Todd (Lisa), Terry (Julie), Tony (Denise), Dean (Krista); great-grandchildren, Todd, Stephanie, Kenneth, Damian and Chloe;  sister, Margaret Roberts; half-sister, Dinah (Herman Dawe); step-sister, Eileen Greene;  half-brothers, Ernest (Linda), Gilbert (Loretta), Lorne (Linda) and a large circle of other relatives and friends.

As expressions of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations to the Philadelphia Pentecostal Church or Cemetery Fund will be gratefully accepted.

In light of the current coronavirus pandemic, there will be no public visitation or funeral service. All services will remain private for family only.
