Passed peacefully away on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at her home in Lewisporte, NL, Mrs. Mildred Sheppard, age 95 years.

She was predeceased by her husband, Stephen; daughter, Judy Hill; parents, Cornelius and Susanna Sheppard; siblings, Ammon, Doug (Olive), Eli, Gordon (Loretta) and Alma. Left to mourn her passing with fond and loving memories are her grandsons, Jason and Stephen; son-in-law, Ward Hill;  siblings, Audrey (Percy Trask), Jean (Kevin Rowe);  sisters-in-law, Bride and Frances Sheppard and a large circle of family and friends. A special mention to her homecare workers Jackie Lush, Karen Lush, Nitta Whiteway, Cheryl Budden and Violet Higgins who through the years took such special care of her.

Public visitation will take place from Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, 262 Main Street, Lewisporte, NL on Monday, June 12th from 2-4 & 7-9 PM.

The funeral service will take place from St. Matthews United Church, Lewisporte, NL on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at 10 AM. Interment will follow from the United Church Cemetery, Lewisporte, NL.
