Passed away on Friday, October 25, 2019 at the Dr. Y. K. Jeon Kittiwake Health Centre, New-Wes-Valley, NL, Mr. Melvin Jacobs, aged 79 years.

He was predeceased by his parents, Harvey and Margaret Jacobs; brother, Sterling Jacobs; brother-in-law, Martin Humphries.

Left to mourn his passing with fond and loving memories are his wife, Joyce; children, Robert Jacobs (Tammy Day), Michael (Paula) Jacobs, Sheldon (Daniele) Jacobs; grandchildren, Mikaela, Clark, Danyael, Gabrielle, Alexa (Bill) Courtney, Nathaniel, Nicholas, Marc, Griffin; siblings, Alice (Willis) Brown, Aaron (Joan) Jacobs, Gordon (Joan) Jacobs, Willis (Marilyn) Jacobs, Elizabeth Humphries, Clyde (Christine) Jacobs, Pauline (Frank) Barnes, Seymour (Barbra) Jacobs, Donna (Arthur) Baker, Edna (Jerry) Gray; sister-in-law, Doris Jacobs, and a large circle of other relatives and friends.

The public visitation will take place from Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, 262 Main Street, Lewisporte, NL on Sunday, October 27, 2019 from 7-9 PM and Monday, October 28, 2019 from 2-4 PM & 7-9 PM.

The funeral service will take place from St. Paul's Anglican Church, Lewisporte, NL on Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at 2 PM.  Cremation to follow.  The interment to take place from St. Paul's Anglican Cemetery on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at 11 AM.

As expressions of sympathy and In lieu of flowers, donations to The Heart and Stroke Foundation would be gratefully accepted.
