Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, at James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander, NL on  Tuesday, September 23, 2025.

Melvin Arthur Alfred Maxwell Doyle Ginn, 92 years of age. Born March 21, 1933 in Comfort Cove-Newstead. He lived a quiet life with his wife, Mable and raised 6 children. The majority of his working years were spent with Bowater's as a woodman. He was the last surviving member of his siblings.

Predeceased by his parents, Alfred and Welhemina Ginn of Comfort Cove NL; wife, Mabel(Canning); brothers, Cecil, Walter, Lewis, George, Glendon and Winston; sisters, Dorothy, Agnes, Ida and Myrtle; grandson, Tyson Fudge; sons-in-law, Gordon Warford and Donald Mills.

Left to mourn his passing with loving memories are his children; Daphne Snow (Roy), Jeff (Janice), Wanda Mills, Myra Gillingham (Gwynn), Goldie Fudge (Robert), Kitty Warford; grandchildren; Royan, Rochelle, Jesse, Natasha, Danielle, Bradley, Sheldon, Trent; great- grandchildren, Mason Harnett, Liam, Taylor, Mason Warford, Jack, Oliver, Wesley, Alice and a large circle of nieces and nephews.

Public Visitation will take place at The Salvation Army Church, Comfort Cove, NL on Thursday, September 25th, from 11AM-12PM.

The Celebration of life service will take place at The Salvation Army Church, Comfort Cove, NL on Thursday, September 25th at 1PM. The interment will follow at The Salvation Army Cemetery, Comfort Cove, NL.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to The Salvation Army Cemetery Fund, Comfort Cove, NL will be appreciated.
