Passed peacefully away at her home in Lewisporte, NL on Saturday, October 13 ^th , 2018, Ms. Melissa Abbott, age 72 years.

She was predeceased by her husband, Walter Abbott; parents, Ural and Olivia Coles; brother, Allan Coles; sister, Violet Brace.

Left to mourn her passing with fond and loving memories are her children, Edward (Susan) Coles, Peter (Lorna) Abbott; grandchildren, Cody, Ashley, Samantha, Caleb, Sean-Paul, Kiara; great granddaughter, Claire; sisters, Ethal, Rowena, Joyce, Louise, June, Evangeline; brother, Fred; special friend, Juanita Sheppard; and a large circle of other relatives and friends.

Public visitation will take place from Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home on Sunday, October 14 ^th , 2018 from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM and Monday October 15 ^th , 2018 from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM. The Funeral Service take place from the Salvation Army Citadel, Lewisporte, NL on Tuesday, October 16 ^th at 2 PM.  The interment will follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery.

As expressions of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Salvation Army Citadel, Lewisporte.
