It is with great sadness that the Family announce the passing of Bride Matilda Pope on July 19th, 2024 at her home in Birchy Bay, in her 80th year.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 62 years Elmo; her Children Paul (Doreen), Paulette (Tom), Pam (Chris); grandchildren Grant, Spencer, Nathaniel, Desiree and Nolan; sister Viola (Josh); brothers Adam ( Bride), Rex (Eileen), Frank (Margerie) as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She will also be dearly be missed by fellow parishioners at the Beacon Pentecostal Church in Birchy Bay.

The family would like to thank the Support Workers who took such loving care of Bride; Louise Keats, Roxanne Quinlan & Monica Quinlan.

Public visitation will take place from the Beacon Pentecostal Church, Birchy Bay on Sunday, July 21st from 7-9 PM.  The Funeral Service will take place from the church on Monday, July 22nd at 2 PM.  Interment will take place from the Pentecostal Church Cemetery, Birchy Bay, NL.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, 262 Main Street, Lewisporte, NL.
