Passed peacefully away at the North Haven Manor, Lewisporte, NL, Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Schmidt, aged 85 years.

Left to mourn her passing with fond and loving memories is her daughter, Heather; sister, Judy; best friends, Patricia and Susan; many nieces and nephews, also a large circle of other relatives and friends.

She was predeceased by her parents, Wilfred & Ella Brown; husband, John Schmidt; sisters, Dorothy, Marjorie, Shirley; brothers, Bert, Ernest and Gerald.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place.

Thanks to the staff at North Haven Manor, Rev. Owen Howell, Rev. Hannah Dicks, Majors Wilson and Linda Janes and Major Ella Hiscock. Also to the Alzheimer's Society, without you I wouldn't have gotten through the difficult days.

A Memorial Service will take place from St. Paul's Anglican Church, Lewisporte. NL, on Friday, February 2, 2024 at 2 PM. The interment will take place at a later date.

As expression of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Society or the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Center will be gratefully accepted.
