Passed away on Thursday, December 22, 2022 at the North Haven Manor, Lewisporte, Mrs. Mary Netta Freake, age 85 years. She was predeceased by her husband, Ambrose;  parents, Arthur and Sarah Jane Quinlan;  children, Kevin, Karen and John;  grandson, Michael;  siblings, Tom (Stella), Simon (Sarahann), Pearce (Joan), Chesley (Irene), Lucy (Stewart), Joe and Harold.  Left to mourn her passing with fond and loving memories are her children, Larry (Cindy), Brian (Paula), Pauline (Keith), Jackie (Trent), Paul, Wanda (Lesley), Tracey (Steve);  13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren;  daughter-in-law, Kitty;  son-in-law, Jerome; niece, Daphne (Ivan) and a large circle of other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The visitation and funeral service will be private for family and close friends.  The funeral service will take place from Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, 262 Main Street, Lewisporte on Saturday, December 24 ^th at 10:30 AM with Rev. Hannah Dicks officiating. Interment will follow from St. Paul's Anglican Church Cemetery.  As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Red Cross will be gratefully accepted.
