Passed away on Thursday, December 22, 2022 at the Lewisporte Health Care Center, Mr. Mark Janes (Pop), aged 93 years.

He was predeceased by his wife, Queenie; parents, Mark and Mary; daughter, Vivian Hodder; siblings, Raymond (Emma), Edward (Dinah), Lloyd (Hazel), Steve (Emma), Hedley (Sarah), Frank, Edna (Jake), Grace (Louis); son-in-law, Rick Evans.

Left to mourn his passing with fond and loving memories are his children, Gloria, Larry (Josephine), Sheila (Joe), Carman (Michelle), Jeanen, Christine, Jerry (Debbie); grandchildren, Carrie-Ann, Mark, Clifford, Todd, Amy, Tiffany, Ashley, Tyler, Crystal, Melissa, Alexandra; great-grandchildren, Reegan and Delphine; sister, Madeline Parrot, and a large circle of other relatives and friends.

Public visitation will take place from Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, 262 Main Street, Lewisporte on Tuesday, December 27th and Wednesday, December 28th from 2-4 & 7-9 PM.  The Funeral Service will take place from the Salvation Army Church, Lewisporte  on Thursday, December 29th at 2 PM.  Interment will follow at the Community Cemetery, Embree.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Community Cemetery Fund, Embree would be gratefully accepted.
