It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved mother Marilyn Coffin at 69 years of age.

Mom passed peacefully away on Friday, June 30, 2023 at the North Haven Manor, Lewisporte, NL.

Predeceased by her son, Terry Curtis; mother, Netta (Coffin) Bignell; father, Edgar Coffin; step father, Jim Bignell; sister, Stella Boyd; brothers, Roy Coffin and Cyril Coffin; brothers-in-law Dawe Boyd and Hayward Gill.

Left to mourn her passing with fond and loving memories are her daughters, Tracey (Dion Brown), Teresa (Terry Mulley); son, Trevor Curtis; grandchildren, Rebecca (Dave Foster),  Caitlyn Brown, Megan Mulley, Joshua Mulley, Felicity Snow, Victoria Snow, Kegan and Sara; great grandchildren, Jace and Dawson Foster; sisters, Marie Gill, Audrey (Kevin Ball), Emma (David Jones); sister-in-law, Eunice Coffin; many nieces, nephews and a large circle of other relatives and friends.

We would like to thank the staff of both the Fogo Island long term care unit and North Haven Manor for taking great care of mom. We would like to give the biggest thanks to her sisters Audrey, Emma, Eunice for going above and beyond to ensure that mom had what she needed and for being there.

As per the family's request, cremation is to take place. A memorial service will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Canadian Cancer Society will be gratefully accepted.
