It is with sadness that the family of the late Marie Parsons announces her passing at Boyd Hicks Retirement Home, Aspen Cove, NL aged 87 years.

Marie leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children, Robert (Belle), Glen (Mabel), Lavenia (Hubert) Hodder, Boyce, Carol (Woodrow), Maxine (Richard)Butt, step-daughters, Patricia (Gord)Tulk, Denise (Bruce)Randell; step-son, David (Sharon);14 grandchildren; 6 step-grandchildren; a large number of great-grandchildren; sisters, Rema Attwood, Linda (George) Corestin. As well as a large number of relatives and friends.

Marie is predeceased by her first husband, John Parsons; second husband, Ward Parsons; parents, Wesley & Ann White; sisters, Isabelle & Peggy; brothers, Charlie & Robert.

The public visitation took place Saturday, August 13, 2016 at 7-9 pm from The Salvation Army Citadel, Carmenville, NL.

The funeral service took place Sunday, August 14, 2016 at 2 pm from The Salvation Army Citadel, Carmenville, NL. The interment followed at The Salvation Army Cemetery, Carmemville, NL.
