Passed away on Thursday, March 17, 2022 at the North Haven Manor, Lewisporte, NL, Mrs. Margaret Stone, aged 93 years.

She was predeceased by her husband, William Stone; parents, Elam and Mary Brinson; daughter, Nellie and great-grandson, Brandon.

Left to mourn her passing with fond and loving memories are her sister, Betty; grandchildren, Kim, Doris (Rob), Rocky (Jackie), Brenda (Justin), Paula (Roger), Toby (Maryann) and a large circle of family and friends.

The public visitation will take place from Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, 262 Main Street, Lewisporte, NL on Saturday, March 19, 2022 from 2-4 PM.

The funeral service will take place from Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home on Sunday, March 20, 2022 at 10:30 AM.  The interment will follow at the Pentecostal Church Cemetery, Birchy Bay, NL.

Nan was someone who loved to give.  She enjoyed cooking for family and friends.  Her cat was her life.  Nan was a compassionate spirit who spoke her mind freely but her real passion was caring for people. We never knew what she would say but she left this world saying she loved the Lord and her family.  She is now with the Lord, mom (Nellie) and great-grandson, Brandon.  Until we meet again.
