Passed peacefully away on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at the James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander, NL, Lorna Yvonne Pelley, age 81 years.

She was predeceased by her husband, Roy Pelley; parents, Nathaniel and Doris Nippard; siblings, Ivan Nippard and Elmo Nippard.

Left to mourn her passing with fond and loving memories are her children, Judy (Denney) Hynes, David Pelley, Daryl (Eunice) Pelley, Rick Pelley (Tracey Powell), Debbie (Mark) Hudson, Shawn Pelley, Roy Pelley; siblings, Wayne Nippard, Annie Mews, Llewelyn Nippard, and a large circle of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Lorna was a Christian woman who loved the Lord, she was known for reading her Bible every single day. She is gone home to be with the Lord and she will be deeply missed by all.

Public visitation will take place from Glad Tidings Tabernacle, Embree, NL on Thursday, August 3rd from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM.

The Funeral Service will take place from Glad Tidings Tabernacle, Embree, NL on Friday, August 4th at 2 PM.  Interment will follow at the Community Cemetery, Embree, NL.

As expressions of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations to the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews will be gratefully accepted.
