Passed away on Friday, July 3, 2015 at the Central NL Regional Health Care Center, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL, Mr. Gordon Lloyd Roberts, age 76 years.
Lloyd was born to Samuel and Awelda Roberts on May 5, 1939. At the time of his death, he was married to Betty Hillier of Campbellton for 16 months. Lloyd moved back to Newfoundland around 16 years ago. He spent most of his time living on the Mainland working for his living and his family.
He is predeceased by his parents and 2 sisters. Left to mourn his passing are his loving, caring and devoted wife, Betty whom he loved and appreciated very much; sisters, Audrey (Bernard Brake), Golda (Alvin Lush), Bernice (Roy Rice); uncle, Stewart (Minnie Roberts); sons, Anthony (Debra), Terry (Shelley); daughter, Judy (Craig Marshall) and 4 grandchildren. Also left to mourn are his extended family, Cordell and Conrad who called him pop; Chastity (Darren) and 1 grandchild who called him poppy Lloyd and a large circle of other relatives and friends.
A memorial service took place from The Salvation Army Church in Triton on Monday, July 20th at 2 PM.
