Lloyd George Maxwell Quinlan passed away peacefully in the presence of loving family at James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander on July 19, 2020 after a short battle with cancer at the age of 84 years old.  He resided in Birchy Bay, NL.

Lloyd was predeceased by his loving wife, Vera Mae Quinlan to whom he was married 55 years;  father and mother, George and Marigold Quinlan;  brother, Augustus Quinlan;  brother, Melvin Quinlan;  sister, Louisa Tulk.  Left to mourn with precious memories are his children, Curt (Lorraine), Marilyn (Roland), Joan, Douglas (Carly), Linda (Chris), Lorne, Gail (Bruce), Keith;  13 grandchildren;  12 great-grandchildren;  special friend, Nora Quinlan and a large circle of friends.

We extend special thanks to the staff of Pleasantview Manor, he loved his short time there and each and every one held a special place in his heart. Thanks to the staff at Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home for their professional care to the family.  Also, thanks to the medical team at the James Paton Memorial Hospital, their compassion and care didn't go unnoticed.

Due to the current circumstances with covid-19, there will be no public visitation or service.  A funeral service will be held for immediate family only.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Salvation Army Cemetery Fund, Birchy Bay.
