It is with great sadness that the family of the Late Lloyd Manuel Freake announce his sudden passing on Tuesday, January 8, 2019.

He was predeceased by his parents, William and Eunice Freake; brothers, Dave and Jim; brothers- in-law; Arthur Rideout and Paul Nippard.

Left to mourn his passing with fond and loving memories are his wife, Phyllis and their two sons Marcus and Jordan; his daughter, Julian(Cory) Cooper;  his mother, Ruth and her husband Heber Freake; siblings, Sandra(Harvey) Burry, Leslie(Linda), Melvin(Georgie), Madeline(Fred) Tulk, Hazel Rideout; sisters-in-law, Daphne Freake, Levina Freake; His father and mother-in-law, Bob and Doreen Nippard; sisters-in-law, Lori(Terry) Ings, Tonya(Mike) Churchill, Dale(Dave) Canning, Kelly Nippard; his many nieces and nephews who he loved dearly especially  his little buddy Ben. As well as a large circle of extended family and friends including his hockey family.

The public visitation will take place from the Beacon Pentecostal Church, Birchy Bay, NL, on Friday, January 11 ^th from 2-4 PM & 7- 8:30 PM. The funeral service will take place from the Beacon Pentecostal Church, Birchy Bay, NL on Saturday January 12 ^th at 11 AM with Father Joseph from St. Anne's Roman Catholic Church officiating. The interment will take place at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Boyd's Cove, NL.

As expressions of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to his family for distribution to charities/groups of their choice.
