Passed away on Thursday, February 20, 2020 at the James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander, NL, Liam Pope, age 16 years.

He was predeceased by his grandfathers, Nehemiah Pope and Gordon Canning; sister, Sarah; aunt, Zeta and cousin, Stacey.

Left to mourn his passing with fond and loving memories are his dad and mom, Colin and Joyce Pope; brother, Joshua Pope; grandmothers, Emma Pope (Randolph Canning) and Viola Canning; aunts and uncles, Judy (Roy), Jane (Roland), Paul (Kim), Joan, Janis, Aubrey (Jean), Jessie (Andy), Doris (Wayne), Evelyn (Brian), Thomas (Roseanne), Marilyn (Martin), Sheena (Darren); special caregivers, Michelle Wells, Sheila Lewis, Lori Snow, Ginger; school family as well as a large circle of cousins, other relatives and friends.

The public visitation took place at Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, 262 Main Street, Lewisporte on Saturday, February 22, 2020 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. The funeral service took place from St. Matthews United Church, Lewisporte, NL on Sunday, February 23, 2020 at 2 PM.

As expressions of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations to Children's Wish (Lewisporte Chapter) https://www.childrenswish.ca/donate/ was gratefully accepted.
