Passed away on Thursday, November 7, 2019 at the Lewisporte Health Center, Lewisporte, NL, Mr. Lewis Albert Oake, aged 71 years.

He was predeceased by his parents, Albert and Pricilla Oake; parents-in-law, Wilson and Grace Rideout; sister-in-law, Major Audrey Rideout.

Left to mourn his passing with fond and loving memories are his wife, Wavey; daughters, Elizabeth (Paul Kondratuk), Mandy Oake;  grandson, Spencer Kondratuk; brother, Glenn (Audrey); sisters, Christine (Brendan Somerton), & Mary Lou (James Ginn); brother-in-law, Roger (Margaret) Rideout; nephews, David, Mark & Jonathan; nieces, Janet & Allison; great-nephew, Eric; as well as a large circle of family and friends.

The public visitation took place on Friday, November 8, 2019 from 7-9 PM from The Salvation Army Church, Comfort Cove-Newstead, NL.

The funeral service took place from The Salvation Army Church, Comfort Cove-Newstead, NL on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at 2 PM.  The interment followed at The Salvation Army Cemetery, Comfort Cove-Newstead, NL.

As expressions of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations to The Salvation Army Cemetery Fund, Comfort Cove-Newstead, NL was gratefully accepted.
