Our hearts are broken with grief, and sadness!!!! Our family and the world who knew her have lost our Matriarch.

Levina Mary Pope, (Youngest Daughter of Norman and Ivy Lovelace (predeceased), passed away with all her loved ones by her side on June 15th, 2023 at the age of 84 to reunite with her Dear Husband (Otto) and dance with him in the streets of gold.

She is survived by her six (6) children; Carl (Michelle), Patsy (Edgar), Julie (Leonard), Sherry (Cletus), Valerie (Carl), Deon (Patti), her precious fourteen (14) grandchildren and her eleven (11) great grand children whom she adored, cherished and loved beyond life itself!!!.

She will be leaving behind her only sibling, her rock and friend, Ena Atkinson (Ted).

Levie was born in Burnt Cove NL on June 25, 1938. At the young age of nineteen (19) she married the love of her life Otto Eli Pope. Levie (Mrs Pope, Momma, Nanny, Granda-ma-ma, Big Nan) was a silver screen, that inspired, and lit up the room with her smile, gentleness, kindness and joy. Her inspiration, and love was given to all she knew, she reminded each one of us the love she had and her gratitude for everyone that lend a hand, helped, or assisted her.

Momma loved all her second family and looked forward to her pickup from the wheel trans team:

Her visits to Dialysis where she cherished her team,

Public visitation will take place from the Beacon Pentecostal Church, Birchy Bay, NL on Saturday, June 17, 2023 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM.

The funeral service will take place from the Beacon Pentecostal Church, Birchy Bay, NL on Sunday, June 18, 2023 at 2PM. Interment will follow from the Beacon Pentecostal Cemetery, Birchy Bay, NL.

As expression of sympathy flowers or donations to the Beacon Pentecostal Cemetery will be gratefully accepted.
