Passed away on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at the North Haven Manor, Lewisporte, NL, Levenia Lily Verbina Day, age 88 years.

She was predeceased by her parents, Gordon and Dulcie Canning; sisters, Ethel, Joyce, Effie Mae and Goldie.

Left to mourn her passing with fond and loving memories are her husband, Otto of 71 years. Their children Gary (Debbie), Thelma (Jim), Marva (Don) and Mervin (Lana); grandchildren, great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.

Levenia enjoyed quilting, her flowers, spending time with her family at the cabin, ski-dooing, outdoor activities; her favorite was having a boil up in the woods.

In following with her wishes cremation has taken place. There will be no formal visitation or funeral at this time. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

In expressions of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donation can be made to support Dementia-Alzheimer Society.

The family would like to send a special thank you to the personal care workers at the North Haven Manor, Lewisporte for their tender loving care.
