Passed peacefully on Tuesday, May 21, 2019, following a very brief illness. He was surrounded by family and friends whom he kept entertained until the end.

Predeceased by the love of his life, his wife Irene; his precious daughter, Denise and his loving parents, Fred and Emma-May.  Leaving to mourn are his children, Sherry (Rick) MacEachren and Terry (Angie) Penney; his grandchildren, Nicholas and Lucas Batt, Christopher and Kiersten MacEachren, Rebecca and Jonah Penney; his brother, Austin (Flo) and his sister, Eileen (Clarence); son-in-law, Glenn Batt; nieces and nephews; and a very large circle of friends.

Public visitation will take place at the Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, 262 Main Street, Lewisporte, NL  on Thursday, May 23 from 7-9 PM and Friday, May 24 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM.

Funeral Service will take place at St. Matthew's United Church, Lewisporte, NL on Saturday, May 25 , 2019 at 2PM. Interment to follow from the United Cemetery, Lewisporte, NL.

As expressions of sympathy, flowers or donations to the United Church Cemetery Fund, Lewisporte would be gratefully accepted.
