Passed away on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at the Lewisporte Health Center, Lewisporte, NL, Mrs. Leah Alice Baker, age 82 years, of Browns Arm. She was predeceased by parents, Albert and Alice Day; siblings, Charlie, Harvey, Albert, Clyde, Gilbert, Annie and Bessie.

Left to mourn her passing are her husband, Clarence; children, Reginald (Sadie), Alvin (Doreen), Glen (Helen), Vincent (Brenda), Cavelle (Mac), Joy; grandchildren, Troy (Sabrina), Trudy (Randell), Tanya (Rex), Lana (Glen), Dean (Missy), Steven (Nutisha), Melissa (Chris), Philip (Nadine), Gail (Tim), Justin (Dallas), Andy (Carrie), Melanie (Dujon), Michael; 22 great-grandchildren; brother, Onslo and a large circle of other relatives and friends.

Public visitation took place from the Pentecostal Church, Browns Arm on Friday, January 9th and Saturday, January 10th from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. The Funeral Service took place from the church on Sunday, January 11th at 2 PM.

As expressions of sympathy, flowers or donations to the Lung Association will be gratefully accepted.
